Dewvero The Skin, Bangbae: A Private Hydration Facial for Dry, Sensitive Skin

📍 Seoul / Seocho · Naebang Stn. (Line 7) Exit 3

This visit was sponsored by Dewvero The Skin. As always, all opinions are my own.

Dry autumn air always hits my skin first. I am prone to breakouts, my skin felt tight, and redness kept creeping onto my cheeks. So I went looking for a proper hydration treatment and found Dewvero The Skin, a premium private skin care studio near Naebang Station in southern Seoul.

Getting there

From Naebang Station Exit 3, it is about a 350 m walk. You will see a large “Dewvero The Skincare 2F” sign on the building. A “Reservation Only” sign hangs on the 2nd-floor door — they see one client at a time, so book ahead.

Visiting from abroad? Booking is done in Korean, so I recommend sending them a message on Instagram first to check availability and language support.

A calm, private space

The studio is all white with soft lighting, and I relaxed the moment I walked in. Every product they use is displayed on the shelves, which actually made me trust them more. They even have their own barrier cream for dry, sensitive skin.

Each treatment room is numbered, and there is a separate powder room. Thick blankets on the bed, tidy devices and little decor touches show how much care went into the space.

You change into a gown, and they bring you a cold tea before starting. All tools are kept in clean storage boxes.

Consultation with an experienced director

Every visit starts with a consultation. The director worked for 20 years in plastic surgery and dermatology clinics in Cheongdam, including as head consultant. She listened to every concern — breakouts, dryness and redness — and explained what she would do. Because my skin is dry, she said she would take extra care.

Step 1: Cleansing and a lot of ampoule

After a thorough cleansing and gentle exfoliation, she applied ampoule generously at every step — a premium formula with plant-derived exosomes, PDRN and multiple hyaluronic acids. It felt like a true premium treatment.

Step 2: MTS pore care

She explained beforehand that MTS can be a little stimulating, which helped me relax. She worked carefully across my face, adding ampoule along the way, and adjusted the intensity to my skin. It was much more comfortable than I expected. If pores are your concern, doing this regularly seems worth it.

Step 3: LDM “water drop” treatment

Next came LDM, an ultrasound treatment also offered at dermatology clinics. Instead of a regular gel, she used a hydrating gel — the kind of detail that makes premium care different. I could feel my skin getting more moisturized the whole time. If dry skin is your problem, this is the one to try.

Step 4: Modeling mask (and a scalp massage)

To lock in moisture, she finished with a cool modeling mask. While it set, she massaged my scalp — pure bliss.

The result: clearer, glowing skin

When I looked in the mirror, my skin looked clearer and had a natural glow, even without makeup. The rough texture was smoother, the tightness was gone and the redness had calmed down a lot. They also have a cushion and hair dryer ready so you can freshen up before leaving.

They also have an Ulthera-style lifting device (Alteon) — I would like to try it next time. Ask about seasonal promotions when you book; when I visited, they had an event on water-drop and toning treatments.

Zoapik’s verdict

– Thorough consultation with a director who has 20 years of clinic experience – Generous exosome, PDRN and hyaluronic acid ampoules – MTS pore care with careful explanation and intensity control – LDM water-drop treatment with hydrating gel — deeply moisturizing – Modeling mask and scalp massage to finish – 100% private, reservation-only studio near Naebang Station Exit 3 – Heads-up: MTS can be stimulating, so mention sensitive skin during the consultation

If your skin is dry and red like mine, start with the water-drop treatment. I am planning to come back regularly for MTS.
