Mac Moc, Seongsu: Cozy Fleece Boots and the Shearling Crossbody Bag I Bought

Seongsu is full of travelers these days, and one shop was especially busy: Mac Moc. I walked in looking for a proper winter bag and found one that goes perfectly with my fleece boots. I tried it on, saw the price, and paid on the spot.

The store

The moment you step inside, it feels cozy and stylish. A big brushed-steel wall carries the MAC MOC logo, and boots line up along the bottom like a little runway.

There is a sofa in the middle of the store, so you can take a break while you shop. After a long day of walking around Seongsu, that was a lifesaver.

Boots, moccasins and winter goodies

The walls and shelves are neatly stocked with trendy winter items. The fleece boot section is set up by style, so it is easy to compare. Just looking around was fun.

The Mac Moc moccasins were super comfy and cute too. There are fluffy flats, earmuffs, card wallets and plenty of small things that would make good gifts.

Friendly staff

Lots of international customers come here, and the staff were really kind. They even suggested styles, so it is easy even if it is your first time shopping in Korea. When I tried on bags, they explained how the strap length would fall and what kind of winter outfits each bag matches. It made shopping so much easier.

There are lots of bags to choose from. I also loved this suede shoulder bag, but it could not be worn crossbody, so I passed.

I chose a shoulder bag in a camel suede-look material with fluffy fleece trim all around the edges. One look and you think, “Ah, a winter bag.”

It looks even prettier in person than in photos. The color goes with knits, coats and padded jackets. It also sits nicely on the shoulder over a thick winter coat.

A wallet, a pouch, my phone, car keys, lip products and even a small tumbler. More than enough for a daily bag.
